We've been talking about it for months but didn't have the $ to do it until now. My sister is taking a few days and going over to London to visit my other sister. I think we all just need the break.

Maybe they gave you a discount cause the room is haunted. J/k (but supposedly almost every building around there is haunted). currently, it is warm but supposedly it is supposed to cool off tomorrow...high of 70 degrees (yes, that is a cool front for us). So you'll probably be fine if you just bring a light jacket. oh wait....you aren't comming till January. ok, in that case bring more than just a jacket. It is humid and icky during the summer, but it's that same moisture that makes the cold feel like it blows right through you during the winter.
So I guess your kids aren't going with you? Even if they aren't, definitely go to the Aquarium of the Americas. It's great.

Josh only has one kid and she lives with her mother about 15 miles away. But I'll still keep the Aquarium in mind for something to do while we're down there.

I've been wondering, does it ever snow there?

eh, once in awhile....well, hardly. It doesn't usually stick either. Past couple of years it snowed for New Years which was cool.
