The great thing about boiled peanuts is that if I don't feel like boiling them, then every couple of miles down the road there's someone selling them. It's the one part of summer I actually like.
See, I miss that about Charleston. I remember getting boiled peanuts after school with my dad and siblings in days gone by. You can't get them as much in Florida. :(
Best way to describe boiled peanuts is this-take some raw peanuts (don't used cooked) and boiled them. 25-35 minutes if you want them crunchy. More if you want them soft. I suggest adding something to season them. I use salt but you can use whatever you like really.
Why aren't middle of the week days more exciting? Wish they were.
I am a crazy person that doesn't like chocolate cake. I actually don't eat a lot of chocolate in general. Ths entry does make me want boiled peanuts though. I think we have a couple cans of boiled peanuts in the pantry. Craziness, in Arkansas you can only get boiled peanuts in cans. One thing I miss about SC is the people selling boiled peanuts on the side of the road
( ... )
I was the weird kid that didn't like chocolate cake or chocolate ice cream. (shrugs) I actually am only a fan of dark chocolate, but I will eat milk chocolate if it is part of a candy bar so I am not just eating chocolate (Snickers, Butterfinger, Almond Joy, etc).
Today was a bit rough too because the girls still had stomach aches, but it wasn't as bad. I was just frustrated because I usually only babysit until 1 on Thursdays, and the mom told me when I got there that she needed me until 3:30 at the latest because she had to go to Fayetteville for something, but she didn't even get back until almost 4:30. Other than the girls not feeling too good, we had fun. We had a dance party to Darren Criss songs (I had to find the songs without cussing, LOL), and the girls napped from 1-4:30, which was really nice because I was able to take a nap too. Tonight was good TV too. The Vampire Diaries was awesome, but I haven't seen Community yet so don't spoil it for me. :) (I will probably not watch Community until next week).

And I have no idea what boiled peanuts are, but it does sound kind of yummy.
I think my Tuesday was about as interesting as yours, and my Wednesday looks to be about the same.

But... boiled peanuts > roasted peanuts? Yes or no? :D
IDK, I guess it's just a typical slump. Otherwise we wouldn't realize how much better weekends are, I guess? :D

It's Thursday and my week is dull too. Maybe tomorrow will be exciting. Or not. :)
