I rocked the GRE. I'm applying to the U of M, working on responses and letters of recommendation (which, due to some lackluster time in undergrad, is proving to be more of a pain in the ass than I expected

Yep, starting Fall '09 and I'm looking for my MA in English. I'm really, really struggling to find people who will write letters of recommendation for me. They're supposed to be able to vouch for my academic abilities or viability for grad school but none of my professors have seen me fore more than a year. Argh.

How many do you need? 3? Did you have an advisor? Start there and then ask him/her for more suggestions?

Yeah, 3. And I had a few advisors. We kind of get shuffled around a bit.
