Day one of new upstairs AC being installed started this morning. I set an alarm so i'd be up before the folks showed up, but in a twist that I can attribute to April fools day, My alarm didn't go off so I was awoken by the doorbell. Better luck tomorrow with day 2.

eh that sucks. I wouldn't have heard the doorbell though, glad you did ;)

At least you have a doorbell! When they tested our fire alarms in the building my alarm didn't go off either, so when the repair person knocked I didn't hear and just woke up to a strange person in my house.
