Trillian question

I have recently upgraded to Trillian Pro 3. Whenever i enable the jabber plugin (the one that would let me add Google talk) It crashes Trillian. S has upgraded and enabled the plugin with no difficulties. We are both running Windows Vista, and have comparable computers. Thoughts?

Trillian's had issues with corruptes user configs before. I'd try nuking the settings file and resetting it up from scratch. Most of the IM's out there store your contacts on the server now.

Sounds like a good idea. Any idea where I'd find it?

Depends on your OS. Under XP/2000 it will be under c:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Localsettings\Applications\Trillian\ I think. I haven't run Trillian in about 3 versions now I think so they could have moved them.
