When I graduated it really was an end of seeing each other, it's hard to keep track of changing phone numbers and addresses in the years following high school. With so many people having blogs and IM, or at least email addresses, staying in thouch has been made so much easier. The one friend I had in high school has a blog (she's the one that got me started over on Xanga) and we keep up with each other via them.
As a side note - holy crap you're graduating! Since I first found you on Xanga, and you stopped using that in 2002... you were like, pre-high school then.
I'm happy for having the internet at my disposal, most of my good friends keep blogs or keep me informed of what's happening through email and the like, so I definitely have an advantage over people who didn't have such a tool in the past.
About my length of time blogging, I was actually just leaving middle school when I satrted on Xanga, time has really past. I think that you and pdx6 have to be my longest-known online friends that I have known exclusively over blogs, I'm pretty happy about that.
