The Skydiver

He soars through the air,

The wind in his hair.

Laughing with joy,

Like a small boy.

Time to pull the cord and sail.

Unlucky, for his chute did fail.

His life begins to flash before him.

Hopes his wife can live without him.

Tries to think of things to do.

Screams and cries for someone, who?

Realizing that is it too late,
