I visited my parents yesterday and had a chance to spend time with their sweet-natured cat Wimsey. She was so cuddly and adorable that I took a video so you could all see what my lucky parents get to wake up to every morning. Wimsey is so gentle and accommodating that my mom sometimes takes

She is cross-eyed, which is a point my parents always bring up when I ask them why they keep her around. Apparently it prevents her from bothering the birds and also from catching and bringing home "presents".

That's hilarious. Was she trying to guard that bowl? Or was she just upset about you video taping her?

I kind of like that she's cross-eyed. It made me think of my cat. He's not cross-eyed, but when he's sleepy, his pupils move to the opposite corners of his eyes, kind of a reverse cross-eyed. :-)

Well, the bowl is her water bowl, but she was also very irritable because it was raining. She's also just a very mean cat. My mom, who found her on the street and raised her from a very young kitten, can pet her for about 2 seconds before getting attacked.
They used to keep fish in that bowl, but since Wimsey always drank out of it the fish always died, so they gave up and made it her bowl only.

Your kitty sounds very sweet- maybe Wimsey should come take lessons...
