I'd spent part of my day re-reading Lon's book on the Thoth Tarot and doing some work with the cards. I've experimented with a few different spreads, finding I liked the 15 card spread recomended in the little booklet that came with my deck the best, and the Celtic Cross the least. Some FBI agent has indited me with these charges that I definately didn't do. So I call this other FBI agent and explain to him that I couldn't possibly have done these things; I wasn't even in the state when they happened. Tonight I went to the Minervals here in Seattle. It was great to meet some of the folks up here and see some initiations in a different space. The masonic temple is a nice building. There's something magical about preparing your own food mostly from scratch. The mole I've spent the past few hours preparing (boiling the turkey, sauteing onions and peppers, making the sauce) is now simmering gently in its last stages of creation.
