I just saw the email on the discussion list about the nightwatch camping and am currently rather shocked

the reason is quite simple:

1. It is seen as 'soft' by most beltaners

2. Because it is a 'proper campsite' there are far less opportunities to dance naked round campfires without offending the locals

3. everyone is invited to the nightwatch camp
