The internet is so awesome sometimes. Today someone in Greg Brown's Student Pilot Pep Talk Facebook group linked to a 9GAG version of a funny one-panel airplane comic. To my pleased surprise, whoever had posted the comic on 9GAG had left the original copyright note at the bottom of the image. I went to the website indicated in the copyright note

I couldn't find a copy of the cartoon online, but there's also the helicopter version of the joke: How do helicopters fly? They don't, they're so ugly the ground repels them.

Of course there's the old saw "Planes don't run on fuel, they run on money" and all its variants.
