From Russia with love

I finally have the soundtrack to the Russian adaption of Sherlock Holmes (with Vitaly Solomin).  The score is by Vladimir Dashkevich. (Владимир Дашкевич)
It’s really a wonderful soundtrack, and interesting to listen to. (You can hear a lot of Russian elements in the score)
I have made a small "video" of my favorite pieces as a sample.

Actually, I think it would be easiest if you just copied the cyrillic (in Russian) because I can feed it into a translator program if I have the text in the computer.
-Whatever is most convient for you. :) Thanks!

I followed the link from the 221b_bakerst community... :-) I've also seen the Russian Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson series and loved the music. One thing I know about it is that the composer wrote the theme tune to sound as British as he could - based on the hourly music played by the shortwave BBC World Service on the wireless, which was well known at the time. Thank you so much for sharing your eBay find with other fans.

I've finally remembered what that piece of music actually was - it's this trumpet voluntary by Jeremiah Clarke: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lTTWraugCI

This makes me realize I haven't done one for the Russian series yet. How can this be?!
