It's awesome to see you're fully taking advantage of the opportunities Davis has available. Life changes so fast, neh? I totally know what you mean by feeling like you're doing so much. We were hindered in high school with how much time AP/IB and Marching Band took up, but we have so much time to do a lot of new things now.
I'm a USD Ambassador, I might be a tour guide if I get hired, I'm a weekly tutor at Juvenile Hall, I'm a member of USD first EVER pep band, and I'm starting research next semester. It's freaking insane! And the great thing is USD is so excited about the pep band...unlike our stupid high school!
You'll find a way to adjust with classes and if not, those things are always available to you later on in college. Congrats on the CBS thing, btw, that's freaking awesome!
^_^ It's nice knowing you made the right choice for college, huh?
So USD has never had a pep band until this year? Wow...well kudos to you for being one of its first members! Do you guys travel to away games? 'Cos I think USD's football team is gonna play a game up here in a few weeks..
We travel to some games but so far we're ironing out the details for the home games. And yeah, we're playing you guys on November 17th. I'm not sure if we're traveling to that one or not. I'll let you know!
haha i freaking love your enthusiasm. its contagious and utterly AWESOME.
i started writing a letter to you in geography class yesterday. i didnt get to finish it cuz my teacher finally showed up (20 min late to class!). the point being, you answered a lot of my questions in this LJ!! -sigh- lol. when i finish it (probably next geography class--bore!) i'll just send it anyway cuz you want to hear from me- of course! :)
Thanks Steph! Glad to know I answered a lot of questions for you. But of course I do still want to hear from you (my mailbox could do with a lil' bit o' paper).
It does sound like a lot, I'll agree...but it's what you're meant to be doing, what you're passionate about. I read this and realized that I'm not doing nearly as many interesting things. I've got the internship, it's true, but that ends in December and there are no other crazy life-affirming projects until the next year! And then what?!
