I have a 10 MP Powershot that I got about 6 months ago after my old digital camera died (after a nice long life of 6 years, I might add, lol). It's been great so far, it's easy to use, good picture quality, and the computer software for uploading the pics is much better than the one I had for my old camera. I haven't seen what the pictures from a 12 MP look like, so I can't give you a comparison, but I've been happy with the 10 MP! :)
