We lost a friend yesterday

Some of you may know this already, and some of you may not. DJ Gobo (Sean) had been fighting cancer (leukemia and lymphoma) for about the last six months or so, and he passed away yesterday

I heard about this yesterday afternoon, as I was on the phone with a friend who was active in the LA goth scene.

I didn't know him well. But I remember his warmth, his welcoming, his energy. I know he touched so many people, and that community was like my family for so long that by proxy he touched me.

I mourn, along with everyone else who knew him.

Isn't it amazing just how far-reaching his friend base was?

Sweetie that was so eloquently put.. I can't quite yet put the words together here on my end as they still end up in tears and puffy eyes. Sean was one of the dearest people I ever had the honor of calling a dear dear friend. He will be missed by everyone he met this is certain.
