Some assistance, please?
Guys, please, please signal boost if you can. I never ask for things from the internets, but I'm getting a bit desperate.
I am finally flying home from Georgia tomorrow (the country, not the state). Unfortunately, because of the assorted asshattery of the program I'm with, I have a ten-hour overnight layover in Chicago (I also have one in Warsaw, but that's during the day and I'll be fine). I'm going to be getting off six months of stress, sixteen hours of flying, and I'm going to be exhausted.
If there is anyone out there who has a free couch for me from 9 pm to 4 am, I would be beyond-grateful. I do not have the money to pay for a hotel/hostel. I barely have enough to get home, with the extra baggage and taxi fees. I will happily cook you a meal or fangirl with you or I don't know, beta your 100K epic mpreg fic or something. I will buy you some drinks at your favorite bar and should you be in the Philly/New York region, I'll be happy to lend you some crash space and do the tourist thing.
Just to clarify, I would be landing at O'Hare at 7:40 pm, and my flight home to Philadelphia is at 6 am out of O'Hare as well.
I have posted numerous requests to Couchsurfing as well, so this is not my only avenue of inquiry, but I trust fangirls more than I trust total strangers.
I will not have access to a phone, but I'm going to be checking my email regularly. I should be online from now (approx. 6 am EST) to until 10 tonight (approx. 2 pm EST). I'll try to check it again in Warsaw for a bit before my transatlantic flight. The address is my gmail account, which is in my real name: amorenstein@gmail.com.
ETA: So, the dicking-over from this program continues. They canceled my flight, claim it was never confirmed when I have a printout from the airline that says it was, and made me go stay in a hostel while they figure this out. I don't know when I'm flying, I don't know how long I'll end up in Chicago on this new flight, whenever I get it.
I want to thank everyone for the signal boosting and the kind offers. Rest assured, if and when I make it to Chicago, I'll be taking Jess's offer if I have time to crash. At the very least, she owes me pizza. :P

ETA THE SEQUEL: Am now scheduled to fly out very early Sunday morning my time, getting to Warsaw around 7 am, 5 hours in Warsaw, out to Chicago to land around 3, seven hours in Chicago, and then landing in Philly at 1 am Monday. Fingerscrossed that there's no problems with this one.
