The world is going to die. lol... I am feeling a sense of doom about this season. For a few reasons:

For one... over 30% of the bees in western WA are now dead. Those are the critters that polinate our food. I have been looking for the last two days for people who sell Orchard Mason Bees to put s block in my garden and try to buffer my own

I've been saying that we're heading into a food shortage of epic proportions, but no one believes me. I'm the weird one. ;)

I walked through a field of dandilions at the Master Gardeners garden today... there were no bees. I didnt' have to step around ONE. This honestly scares me way more than the shortage of anything... although I am rationing my rice and stocking up on a few other things too right now.

The bee orders are done for this year. All the bees that will be out are out now. I wish I had known how early to get them! I would have been buying them three months ago, but I thought I had to wait. lol... I will know next year and put in orders for every kind I can.

This is all just so scary. I don't know where it is going to end.
