So this might be it for my dad. He's been on chemo and radiation for a month or so now and the tumor hasn't shrunk. He decided to get an apartment in Dixon, IL.. near my grandparents. His brother Robert took him down to Florida to pick up his stuff from his ex-wife, Faye's house and on the way back I guess he passed out or something. Uncle ( Read more... )

haha, no there's no time difference, jazzypoon.. it's still the west coast, silly.
my bro's flight got cancelled.. apparently it's just impossible to fly into florida right now.
my dad's aunt called earlier to clarify things.. he wasn't in a coma, just not that responsive. they put him into immediate emergency surgery to fix the ulcer so afterwards all he's been able to do is like, squeeze the nurses hand if she talks real loudly....
but my mom looked up some stuff on the internet and she said that without complications there's an 80% survival rate from that surgery... of course, he's got the complications, so i dunno. i'm keeping my hopes up i guess : )

hahaha.. mike mentioned the ET walkie talkies the other day.
and no more meds for me... i've been off 'em for 6 months and never felt better (well, at least since before i went nuts i guess)
i'm off for CA tomorrow... gettin' me some JB lovin'
(and yeah i already called gilbert and made a date - hahahahaha)
