I think I will dress up like a normal person for Halloween

It's been quite a month. Work, family, dog rescue plus the laundry doesn't do itself. Yesterday I looked at hair style in the mirror and decided it looks like Amy Winehouse did it. All's well that ends well because I have homes for Jagger and Kitty and both leave tomorrow for their new lives in safe, healthy, excellent families.

Hey, um...can I ask again about April?

April is doing fine but she has heathen manners and does stuff like run at you at a 30 mph clip and stick you in the chest with both front feet. So, little April is working on her skills and she has a new friend, too. His name is Parker and he is at the rescue ranch having come there as a bait dog rescue (50 holes in his head) and these two have become best buddies. Amazing. Next week I will have pictures of April and the tale of her arrival 'til now. She doesn't like men that much. We are working on that, too. All of these traumatized animals need help and that's our specialty. She'll be OK and when she is ready - she will go to an awesome home.

I do not want to know what a bait dog is. I just know it'll make me want to kill someone. :P

Well I have to tell you what a bait dog is because I need everyone to understand what happens to dogs (pits and non pit bulls alike) in dog fighting - and why citizens must stand up against it - they use dogs and cats to practice fighting. Like bait ya know?

After they starve a dog for three days first. And the pit bulls are bad? OK right.
