I spent the day working, fuming, and trying to get over the Antioch shelter debacle. In pit bull rescue, I see plenty of bad things. What some of the 'no-kill shelters' do, is have a separate section for animals that they actually put on 'no-kill, keep indefinitely' status. Other animals "have lower priority to be maintained."
And, some 'no-kill' shelters, when full, instead of telling people they are full, continue accepting animals -- and sending some of them to 'shelters' that do kill.
