NaNoWriMo 2011 ponderings
So, I'm going to participate in NaNoWriMo again this year, of course. God knows I love that contest. It's so satisfying to get through the month having written so much stuff. So, I just found out that my store will be opening at midnight on Black Friday. I'm not surprised, to be honest, but I am dismayed. Goddammit. That means that us signers at work MUST be finished by the time we leave on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and given the past couple of years, I have a bad feeling that it'll be a horrible experience ( Read more... ) -

I bought a new laptop. Kalorii will be jealous, I think :3 I bought the Asus Quad-Core that she'd pointed out to me, and I think she was secretly drooling over it. I also got a data-transfer thing through Best Buy, so as soon as I'm ready, I'll take both laptops in and they'll salvage whatever can be salvaged from the Toshiba and transfer it to the ( Read more... ) -

My laptop has decided to crap out on me or something. All of a sudden, I can't get it to work at all. It keeps shutting off as it starts up. It's not overheating, because it doesn't feel all that warm, but it shuts off as if it's overheated. I don't know what's wrong, and I'm annoyed ( Read more... ) -

Another year
So, Mount St. Helens anniversary day today. I always try to post about it on my journal here. Why? Cuz I find it very important, personally. I dunno. Kentucky Derby 2011
So, the post position draw for the Derby was today. I'm not following the sport like I used to, especially now that I no longer have TVG since Mom and Dad moved out, but I still try to follow it occasionally, and I've been following the trail a little. So, let's have a look and see at what's planning to be in the gate on Saturday!
