Back in February, when my original summer plans started looking completely infeasible, I had to sit down and ask myself what I really wanted out of the summer.  Heading the list was "get out of the U.S. for a while."  But also pretty high up was "living situation."  I knew I wanted to live more or less on my own, in an apartment, and get a warmup

Kudos on the risotto! It's a tough dish...what delicious French cheeses did you use??

The risotto, I'm afraid, was not up to Someday You'll Have A Kitchen standards - it was a box mix with the cheese already in. On the other hand, the green beans were fresh from the farmer's market.

I will indeed still be here that week. When are you leaving for Italy?
