I second that - Ethan Hawke's books are definitely enjoyable.

I don't have all of my "fun" books here in LA - but you're more than welcome to peruse what I have tomorrow night :)

The Great Gatsby is a wonderful book. I think I read The Hottest State (is that his first?) when I was in college. It was definitely a 'day at the beach' kind of read.

Thanks! xo

i am in the middle of the wind-up bird chronicle by haruki murakami and it is really enjoyable. the sort of book i think i will be sad to finish! aside from its hefty size, it's good for travel since the chapters are pretty short. i find that on vacation, i sometimes read in smaller moments and like to leave off on a purposeful break.

I should probably avoid hefty books but that one's definitely on my list. I love Murakami! Have you read Norwegian Wood? That's my favorite of his, so far.

Thank you! I like the LOTR movies, but I don't think I could handle the books. I've always wanted to read some Kerouac, though.

Oh, Miss E. You and me both! I have a pile of 5 books that I might take, but I can't take them all, because there's just not enough room. Hmm. love love love, c.
