The words "abandonment" and "self-indulgent" are visible.

He won't send it. But he'll feel better for having written it.

Richard leaves his shoes by the door and pads softly over to Chris. He rubs his god's shoulders to ease the tension there, but won't speak until he's finished writing.

Chris puts his pen down and tilts back his head, his eyes closed. "That feels very good."

Richard tips his head down and presses a soft kiss to Chris' forehead.

"Good. It's about time I returned the favour. What's eating you?"

Chris exhales and says, "Jack has left. Gone for one his 'long walks.'"
