I just had an interesting idea. Almost a revalation, really. Basically, I thought that there's this art of photography, right? Where the idea is to capture the images of the fleeting moments, etc. etc. Well, I thought, why not an art of capturing the SOUNDS of fleeting moments. There's this guy who invented this thing that would project sound to a certain point so unsuspecting passersby would kind of walk through it for a second and then be like "WtF?" They'd be sounds like a rainforest or a NYC street and he'd sit in, say, a mall parking lot and just aim the thing near people and they'd walk through the sound for just a split second. It sounded like a really fun way to spend a boring afternoon.

That is so cool. PEople should walk around with little recording devices and record different sounds, like "coffee shop at noon" and burn them all to a CD. Or, better yet, tape the sounds in a specific place for an entire day, and see how the sounds evovled.
