Roaaad Trip!

Next Wednesday I leave for Santa Fe! I'll be driving 12 hours a day for three days, and I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can suggest some good books and/or CDs. Books especially. I like books. Plus I don't know if I'll be able to have a CD player on the flight back, since they have the new security in place ( Read more... )

I hope you have fun though! <<3

That is very, very happy because a plane ride without music sucks.

It really does. Thats the only thing that keeps me alive during 6 hours in the same seat.

Plus, headphones keep annoying saetmates from bothering you. Hee. :-)

I'm still leaving. I'm just coming back to get the things I left in storage.

And because of my work schedule, I have to fly back on the 24th...before anyone is going to be back. Which is really sad, because I was hoping to say goodbye..

:-/ I'm really going to miss everyone...

Oh! Have FUN sweetie, I'm sure you will! I hope we get to see each other before hand? Oh wait, you did text-message me earlier, I could respond to that. My brain is totally not here at the moment. Hee.

Yes, you could! I was starting to wonder if you had died...or eloped...or moved to Burma...or been attacked by squirrels...or didn't love me anymore...

Hehe, not really...seriously though, what are your plans for tommorow/next week? I'd love to get together before I head to NM.

::Ahem::
Let's try that again. I recommend the following:
Atonement by Ian McEwan, Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, and The History of Love by Nicole Krauss. If you want to borrow any of these, let me know. We must hang out soon. I'm going back to school on the 31st. :))))

Ummm... Not a whole lot. We're having a little cookout on the 27th so that I can see my family before I leave. You should come! Either that or maybe we can make a mall trip or something. I still have a few things I want to get before I leave. I'll definitely see you before I go. Enjoy your road trip! I'm ever so jealous, as you know. Are you sure they're not allowing electronics on domestic flights?? For some reason, I thought that was only for international flights... How can they expect anyone to fly without music! >:O
