It was the type of rumor that you don't want to believe, but can't in good conscience dismiss either- so I did a little research to try and substantiate the claim. the first picture of merlock shows that he has the exact same toy that presley got when he was a puppy, nearly 4 years ago and he still has it to this day. that weird chickendogfirehydrant looking thing. its missing toes and ears, but we still have it. it'd be so funny if that's merlock's fave toy.

"was" is the correct word. Now the car title is confetti. Please note that this shredding happened about two hours after I spent blood, sweat, and tears at the DMV to get the damn piece of paper. I kept crossing the border from laughing to crying.

That's so funny! Yes, it is his favorite toy! My little sister (who wants to be a vet when she grows up) went through a collecting-dog-toys phase a few years back, so we happened to have this lying around at my mom's house. It's suffered some injuries too: it doesn't squeak anymore and it's missing its dalmationcow middle, but it's still well loved and abused on a daily basis.

A lot like a mother on a condensed scale, in some ways. These pups have taken total control of my life. They're mostly sleeping through the night now (except for when Merlock had a stomach ache at three am and wanted us to be with him), but I still can't really leave the house, the living room is completely rearranged to be a safe play place for them, and I have to teach them how to be good contributing members of society.

And I'm so damn proud of them. I'm firmly convinced that they are the Best Puppies EVER.
