Does anyone want a kitten?
He is:
The sweetest kitten in the entire world. No, really.
Between 4 and 5 months old.
Neutered.
Fully vaccinated.
Ridiculously cute.
Good with dogs (as long as they don't chase him... then he will run, because he is smart).
Beautiful.
Solid black, with a round face and perfect whiskers.
About 5 lbs.
Willing to travel- I'm coming up to NoVA, probably next weekend, and he told me that he would love to come with me.
Named Radar.
The story is that we got him from the pound when he was a teeny tiny baby cat, with hopes that if we got a small enough kitten, the dogs would identify it as a baby and not as lunch.
Unfortunately, it turned out that his scruffy fur was due not to fleas but to ringworm. Then he gave me ringworm. Then he gave the dogs ringworm. Then everyone was kept in isolation until the ringworm was gone. Then (two months later) he had turned very recognizably into a cat. Now the dogs would like to eat him, please.
He is ridiculously sweet (seriously, I can hear him purring when I walk up to the room he's in. As in, he purrs so loudly that I can hear him *through the door* even though I haven't yet said hi to him or acknowledged him in any way). He loves being handled, he has never scratched me, and he desperately wants companionship. He tries to play with the dogs (bats his paws under the door whenever they come nearby) and just wants to be around people, dogs, creatures that will love him. Since the dogs' response is to try to eat him, I don't really understand how he can still try to be friends with them, but he stalwartly continues trying to make them love him. He thinks that being outdoors is cool, but he would prefer to spend more time indoors- when he's outside, he tries to follow me in as soon as he sees where I'm going.
