So, I was in the mood for a change and wavered between cutting my hair and dying it. I decided to "play it safe" and dye my hair... I don't have a hair person in NC yet, and while curly hair is very forgiving when it comes to trims, it's deadly when it comes to short haircuts. I was going for modern and sassy, but in the wrong hands it could end

Well, let it be noted that your profile is still as stunning as always, and my GOD, woman, if I had just a slightly less firm grip on reality and we were not very dear old friends, I would totally be going all Silence of the Lambs here & would find a means of casting you into the oubliette, al rub lotion on its skin or else it get the hose again and then steal that peachy creamy complexion for myself because, quite honestly, your skin really is THAT GOOD. Vinegar basically just strips out all kinds of crazy shit--products they put in, extra color, anything. It's really good for your hair. And while expensive products are awesome, I highly recommend the dark-beer-and-egg-yolk approach, as it has worked better for me than when I spend $30 on a bottle. I don't know why this is. It is kind of unfair.

i'll be honest, you're a good-looking lady galen, you could shave your head and probably be ok. the look is new and a little different, but dont worry, you're young. think of all the other things people did with their bodies that'll never heal: tats, piercings, scars - your hair will be fine. but i do like the idea of bald, it's something new

Yeah... I usually think of myself as a fairly patient person. Then something like this happens and I realize that I have no patience at all. I mean, honestly the color's not that bad and I can pull it off. But I still want time to pass now ::stomps her foot:: so I can get the color I want!

In the meantime, I'm wearing a lot more bright red lipstick. It seems to help the situation.
