JACON = Good
AFO = Good
Orlando Comic-con = Keeeerrrrraaaapppppppp...

I've never seen so many disappointed dealers and attendees at one convention that felt like the con's motto was "A Staff of One."

What was the problem? I know several guests never got their travel arrangement sent to them including Stuart Immonen and Peter David. Were there lots of guests missing or was the complaint lack of support?

Actually it was a little of everything. Dealers had to set up late on Friday because of poor planning between the con and hotel, meaning the VIP hours on Friday night were non-existent. There was absolutely NO con guide, so anyone who paid for extra advertising was screwed. The entire Peter David thing was upsetting to most, and there just didn't seem to be a staff presence at all. People were walking in and out of all the doors, and you could pretty much just walk right in without even purchasing a badge.

From everyone I talked to, including several dealers, artists, and attendees, no one was overly pleased with their experience and the majority seemed to want to ignore next year altogether because of it.
