I got the best birthday present I've ever gotten from the ladies (and John) - a gift certificate to a tattoo parlor! Do they know me or what? I wish I could go spend it right now, but I've got heavy things to lift impending and don't wan to do that with a healing arm. Also, probably best not to show up at the office Christmas party next weekend

My favorite place to grab a taco in Denton is Esters, over on Elm St (near Ravelin). It's more of a grab-and-go type place, rather than a sit down place, but they have the best breakfast tacos and tortas in Denton. I'm in love with their machacado breakfast tacos.
If you want more of a sit-down place, La Mexicana is the best place to go. Their enchiladas aren't that remarkable, but their meat dishes, especially their carne asada, are fantastic. I'm also a huge fan of their caldo de res, which is probably the best I've ever had. They also do breakfast really well, especially their huevos rancheros.
