Good Things Friday. Ooh, and I'm on time for once!

I really do mean to be posting more frequently than once a week, but with the semester in swing, it seems like every day is eaten up with so many things, and before I know it, I look up and a week has gone past. It's a fruitful semester so far, but a hectic one.

And still, there are many good things. These are a few of them:

...Yeah, I know. It would be very tongue-in-cheek. But I've done some brainstorming with some brilliant people, and I kind of think it could be awesome.

I mean, Howard is SUCH a Nestor, isn't he? And I don't think it's much of a stretch to see Vince as Irma. A much more innocent Irma, but still. To be honest, I think the magical realism of the Boosh universe makes some of the plot points more plausible than they were in the original...

Well, discerning to some is rigid to others. I treat my fragrance like I treat my jewellery -- has to match the day, my mood, the colours outside, whatever happens to float through my head at the time. That's largely why I don't shower with the same soap or gel twice in a row; it's all very 'what do I feel like today and/or right this minute.'

Terrific list! And ooooh, Bluey!writing. Long-awaited, that is. =D

Ah, just so. You and I are of one blood here, I think. I also find that framework rigid, and your approach to choosing a fragrance is much like mine. I agree with the comparison to jewelry. I have a few favorites that I will wear more than others, but I like to wear them all, and which one I wear depends on many factors. And I rarely like to do anything the same way twice. :-)

Thank you! And hee, for you are right that it's been a long time. I've only posted two pieces this year, I think, and they're both tiny. But I've been hard at work on larger things, which I think is finally starting to bear fruit now.

There will be pic spam of the cowboy hat eventually! I'm still so behind on pics. But I will get there someday. *g*

Bwaha! I'm glad. Y'know, when you're dealing with English majors, you always have to anticipate potential dirty jokes before they come (ARRIVE! I mean arrive!), because dirty minds are a given. ;-)
