The issue of food had yet to be adressed. Padding through the Guild at Sei's normal I don't really sleep much hour (Read: 1am), he was looking for some sort of fuel, somewhere, and was having a hell of a time getting there. Sure, you know, the Guild had been shown to him in bits and pieces, but like everyone else he'd been far more tired than he ( Read more... )

Rick had been sleeping off and on throughout the entire evening. A marathon like that made a shower the first necessity, then food; and he'd made his way to the kitchen only ten minutes ago.

Once he had something resembling a sandwich, he'd fallen easily into playing catch-up with Caspar.

He heard Sei just as he was getting around to explaining how much colder it'd been up north, which was actually a great time to end the conversation. No one needed to hear about his adventures with shrinkage, anyway.

"Hey, Blue."

Caspar glanced over his shoulder at the newcomer, his expression impassive as usual. This new boy had to be one of the Feltzens... though he had a loud look about him that the others Caspar had seen lacked.

He would wait silently for Rick to introduce him, or for the stranger to ask his name. He'd never been one for starting conversation.

"Blue?" Sei scrunched up his nose, coming to a hault in the kitchen. He considered, briefly, how to go about introducing himself to... well, Blue #2, and decided it'd just be easiest to do it straightforward. He held out his hand to Caspar. "Sei." Then, with his hand still held to shake Caspar's, he turned to Rick.

"Listen, I'm starving, fucking starving, what can I eat here?"

If it wasn't for the mouthful of sandwich, Rick would've offered introductions. He was glad Sei took the initiative to do so, as it gave him some time to chew properly and swallow.

"This," Rick indicated the younger man by tilting his sandwich in Sei's general direction, "is the one that almost broke my nose."

He settled back against the counter behind him. "Well, you're in the right place. Eat whatever you want in here."

He took the other boy's hand somewhat listlessly, as he was not used to handshakes, and raised his eyebrows at Rick's contribution. "Caspar," he rasped back at him.

Over the last few weeks he'd taken to cooking almost obssesively, as they took his mind off of Crowley. Various pies and plates of cookies filled the kitchen (as he knew the residents of the guild would eat these quickly) and - currently on the stove - was a bowl of steaming chowder. If this Sei was hungry, he thought absently, he had quite the selection.

Of course, Sei took to the chowder first, being adverse to sweets, and shrugged. "Yeah, but you took out my knee, all's fair in love and war." He sniffed at the chowder suspiciously, before smiling to Caspar, pointing inside. "Is there meat in this soup?" He had, naturally, assumed Caspar the cook of the outfit - Rick struck him as someone who just seemed incapable of domesticities.

"Ah, it's so humid here and so warm! It's kind of nice, actually, to wake up and not feel like your joints are going to pop off this close to winter -" And there went the talking. "- but I do miss Juno, it was a really nice city being so high up, you can't see as many stars here. Have you ever been to Juno, Caspar? Oh wait, Rick, did you sleep okay? I remember you saying all you wanted was a nice sleep -"
