Caspar sat sprawled on his bed, his back against the wall and his eyes closed. "You can give up, if you'd like," he called listlessly. "I'm not letting you in." Rick had really told Sei to hit him? Sei, he supposed, was the sort to take that in a cheerfully literal sense and hit him regardless of how serious Rick had been when he'd said it. But... it wasn't unmerited. If it came to it - and if Sei could actually pick his lock - he would let the other boy hit him. In a way, it was a strange apology to his guildmate.
Sei smirked as he tried the knife in a different direction. What were Caspar and Rick onto anyway? Neither would answer any questions, and here Sei was standing in the middle thanks to the great big life-debt. Damn, well. It couldn't be helped. Maybe Caspar needed the smack, anyway.
Caspar, needing a smack?
It seemed so ridiculous, like needing to smack Sienna...
"Give up?"
The door finally gave a satisfying cher-clink. Just a little more... "I don't think so."
He opened his eyes when he heard the lock click and frowned. He had hoped it would be a bit harder for an untrained lockpick to break into his room, particularly since he lived in an assassin's guild. That, he supposed, was more the craftsman's fault that anything else, but it made his situation more difficult.
He waited for Sei to come inside, unmoving from his slouch against the wall.
Well; he'd been at it for a while, what were you expecting? His own door had been kicked down by Sepia, a tiny little thing, for crissakes. Craftsmen were unreliable folk.
Sei finally pushed the lock open, stumbling into the room. Hmm. Just slouching there?
Could he really just hit him? It was girly ol' Caspar!
