Hello, you don't know me, so I'm sorry & I don't mean to spam your journal. I noticed you on the eikaiwa community and saw that you teach for Amity. I have an interview with them in 2 weeks & just thought I'd ask if you had any advice you would be willing to give.
I hope I don't seem too random. >_> You seem to like the company though, which is promising. My experience so far has been very positive, so I'm really hoping that my interview goes well. Also, I was wondering if you requested Sendai or were just placed there, since that's what usually seems to happen. I'm just curious since Sendai is my first choice if they ask at any point. I don't suppose you're in need of another NET? ^_^
Sorry again if I'm bothering you, I hope it's not too much trouble. Congratulations on renewing your contract too; I'm sure it was a big decision, but it seems like a good one. Best of luck, and thanks for your time.
it's alright. i was mostly surprised that somebody i didn't know had commented on that particular entry.
the interview is pretty basic. you just need to show that your willing to help out and stay positive. if your called back for a personal interview, stay happy and, again, positive for the recruiter. which city are you interviewing it?
i was placed in sendai. you can request where you want to be placed and if they can get you there they will. i told them i wanted to be further north and i found myself in the northern most amity. amity is opening a new sendai school, so you might be able to be placed there. as of right now, we don't need a new NET at my amity.
this will be my third year with amity and i have no regrets. i'm thinking of going further in the company, but we will cross that bridge when i get there. who knows when i'll be back?
if you have anymore questions feel free to e-mail me. i'll try to answer as much as i can for you!
