Oh the fun of buying text books
Wow, today was fun. I went on-line to check to see if the week zero has opened up for my classes and two off them finally opened but not the third. The two that are open have nothing posted anywhere in them so they are useless to me. They were suppose to be open on the 26th with the syllabus posted and such but nothing. So this christmas thing....
So I am feeling slightly Christmasy this morning and decide I should put up some festive light strings to make my dull, drab apt more holiday-ish. The little fiber optic tree on the TV is looking a little lonely and pathetic and all.

More power outages and a death in the family
Well this has turned out to be a shitty day so far and it hasn't even gotten very far into it.

No power
Well that was fun-not! During the huge storm thursday night my area lost power around midnight. I was without heat or power till around 5 am this morning.
I was lucky to have camping gear in my car so I had a couple of battery powered lanterns, sterno camp stove, camp dishes and sterno and batteries to. It wasn't very cold so I just needed to pull ( Read more... ) -
More storms
Oh joy! 2nd day of downpours. Today was a lot worse than yesterday. The wind storm is getting worse to. Radio says places have started to flood again and that the wind storm is going to get pretty bad late tonight. They are already closing bridges and roads because wind and/or flooding. Finals done!
Wow! Brain fry big time. My last final exam was a killer! It was the longest one so far-100 questions. Hard to. I am pretty sure there were about 10 questions on it that were from a chapter we didn't even study. I'll have to look at the text book later to be for sure. More finals
Well, my math final was both easier and harder than I was expecting. Most of the problems were easy and made me blink and think you have got to be kidding, why not just give us the answer. There were 4 though that I think I got right but am not sure on. 2 of them I couldn't get the algebra equation to work but could get the answer doing other ways ( Read more... ) -
finals
First final exam done-yeah!! I did good on it so I am happy. Getting an A out of the class so I am very happy about that. I wasn't happy about the teacher giving the final a week early but I am OK with it now as it gives me more time for my other two finals next week. I've got one monday and the other tuesday. more snow
Well, got up early and all and snow and ice all over the place. Yes my cars locks are still frozen. Not happy about that. I went to the collage web site to check on classes and all classes are canceled today-yeah! I don't know if I could have gotten my car unlocked in time to make it there. The roads look pretty icy to.
