You make perfect sense, and thinking that doesn't make you a bad person. I feel the same way about my great grandpa. I hoep your grandpa's pain subsides, and I hope that you will find strength and peace in which ever way God answers the prayers. When we were over at your grandfather's, and your mom was supposed to come back soon, but she didn't, and your grandfather kept asking for her because he needed her help.....well, when he started crying, it broke my heart. Obviously I don't have the personal attachment to him that you do....but much of the same thoughts ran through my head.

His entire life right now consists of sitting on his living room couch, and trying desperately to make himself understood to his nurse or his family when his most basic needs have to be taken care of.

As I said....I understand where you're coming from, believe me.

God shall do what God shall do. It's in his hands.
