AT 5'9" that would explain why I haven't understood this phenomenon, and I have heard you mention the problem with people getting too close to you before. On the flip side, being tall and considered formidable keeps people away, when you actually might want them a bit closer. Just sayin'.

yeah, I figured the reverse would be the case for you. The same study bears that out, you get the extra foot of space

oops, and I meant to say that is a phenomenon I have encountered and so has Megan, especially as a tall or tallish woman.
