AT 5'9" that would explain why I haven't understood this phenomenon, and I have heard you mention the problem with people getting too close to you before. On the flip side, being tall and considered formidable keeps people away, when you actually might want them a bit closer. Just sayin'.

oops, and I meant to say that is a phenomenon I have encountered and so has Megan, especially as a tall or tallish woman.
