I guess I didn't update about the Potsdam show, huh?  Now's probably not going to be a great update either cause I'm sleepy, but if I don't do it while I'm thinking about it, I'll forget ( Read more... )

When in November? For either thing? England is a possibility for our 25th.

For Pella -
No specific dates yet because the orignal thought was something like 20 shows spread over 3 - 4 weeks, but then there's a previous commitment for one of the guys (not for Pella as a whole), if I remember correctly (and that's a big IF) on Nov 12 - 13. So I don't know if they were going to shift forward or backwards or just plan it with a break in the middle.

For John Simm - the London thing is only in the rumor stages at this point. He's in Sheffield in Sept, but they haven't posted those specific dates either and it will probably be a short run. Then there's the rumor of the show going to London, and if they do that I'm assuming a longer run just based on how long shows usually run in London.

Of course it might be that the Pella thing falls through entirely and John Simm only does Sheffield, which means I'll be going back to England in Sept (hopefully *g*)

I really want to go to England, period, but if Pella goes that'll be so much fun! Just doing a quick search, I found out it's cheaper to fly to London than to Stockholm! And there's probably an even cheaper airport than what I found (I just only know Heathrow, so that's what went into the search box) so it gives me hope :)

The Worcester date is also finally up on RP.com (added this afternoon, because it wasn't there this morning), and I'm only saying that because the typo is making me laugh (October 53rd? Really, guys?). And the fact that it just says "Hanover Theater" with no other explanation makes it look like someone just went "Shit! Tickets went on sale 3 days ago! Get that date up there!"

Thus far in my travels I've always found it cheaper to fly into London than most other cities in Europe. For me personally it's usually a little cheaper to go into Gatwick than Heathrow because I fly out of Charlotte, but both have an express train to get you into the city. :-)

I do hope England works out because I just love England so much I think everyone should go there. :-) Of course we see if I feel the same way after driving through all their stupid round-a-bouts without a "native" in the car with me like last time. *g*

Oct 53rd huh? I wonder if I'm free that day? *lol* the extra sad part is if the gig actually is on Friday, then they got both digits wrong because the Fridays in Oct are 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29.

Gatwick is just a hair cheaper than Heathrow out of Boston. Literally, like 10 bucks cheaper. Whooo. But actually if I were to go out of NYC, it winds up being about 50 cheaper (so 20 really if you factor in the bus ride). Plus it's Thursday afternoon so everything's going up anyway. So many things to ponder. Good thing it's quite a bit away.

The real October date is the 15th, so they really did scramble things up. Too funny. Did you see for a few days they had Doors: 8:30, Show: 9:30 just hanging out on top of the date table? Whoever's updating their site needs a vacation, I think.

Sigh.. no pella shows in the future for me as of yet. And even if they did London in Nov, I can't go as I have Aruba in Sept with Ira and Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Nov with my "Candy Kitchen" girls (hehehe... I figured I'd throw in my juvenile name for my little group of girls as I love the drama that "click names" have aparked once again!)
