I loved that book. Definitely worth a re-read.

I agree; this is definitely one I'll re-read. My favorite books are the ones that completely immerse me in the world they create, and I so vividly saw and felt the world of Missing.

And though it was a minor scene overall, since I was still in fundraising when I read it, I loved the scene where Matron was touring the hospital with the visiting American donor and explaining about the bibles and named operating theaters. Those were great examples of the difference between what donors want to fund and what the population being served actually needs...
