freezing that frame

I have my first sunburn of the season.
It's somehow comforting to see my shoulders dusted in freckled and striped with pink lines where my bra straps slid down on my left shoulder.
Not a year has gone by where I have not been sunburnt at least once and it always reminds me of running around outside and swimming in my pool for hours as a little kid.

Sunburns are not comforting. They are precursors to skin cancer!

Oh trust me, I know this well. I am very vigilant with sunblock and hats and such but still, EVERY YEAR I get burnt. I have very fair skin and I go to the dermatologist once a year for a full body check up to make sure everything is looking peachy.
It's that moment of "I put on spf 40 and wore a hat and I STILL got burnt" that gets me every time.
