Ah, you are that precious friend who can do miracles, this is really wonderful, how you help your friends. So I am even more pleased to hear you are all right. I assure you, you would have suffered the same delay here, I am afraid it is worldwide!
Yesterday and today we must have received a bit of your Very Wet Weather! Bucketing and cold, only now it stopped raining but it has also got cold. And here comes the fog, oh yes, real autumn has arrived!
Take care!

Glad you were able to get away, even if not to your writing conference. How good of you to help your friend! And so glad she is improving. Strokes can be devastating and movement and activity are so essential. I'm sure she was glad of the company.

I've only flown over the Minch, but the Pentland Firth? I think if I were ever to go back to Orkney, I'd fly there too.

Bluewolf has been a real angel to me this past yea I am very much improved, but Giannina, my sister, worries if I'd have to be on my own for several days. Bluewold has enouraged me to walk out, I use a rollator and I'm coming on well. \we have a target for next year, and I really want to be well enough to make it.

\I have high hopes, as I really think myself I've come quite far since this time last year. Thanks again, Bluewolf

Hey, remember what you did for me ten years ago when I broke my hip. You spent several weeks here helping me. Without you, I don't know how I would have managed in those first days after I got out of hospital. I haven't forgotten that.
