opportunity and adventure
Ok, so there's a job in antartica. and that i meet the requirements for it. it'd be 5 months down there. and i want to do it, but at the same time, i don't. i don't know if i'm looking for encouragement or looking for someone to dissuade me or what. all i know is that it sounds like a fun adventure.

If it's summer, go for it.
If it's winter... well, don't know about your brain but mine gets just this side of suicidal with that much darkness. So you'd have to judge that for yourself.

However, I hate to be the damper on this party, but I want you to consider two things: Why did you leave Maryland? Why did you leave Physics? If, after some thought, those two questions are irrelevant, go for it.
Remember, it'll probably be close quarters with the same people for 5+ months, with a likely shortage or recreation. Am I correct?
