As Zhoumi pulled up to the electronics store, he parked his car and grabbed the newspaper ad that had all of the sale items for that week.

After his last cam whoring spree, Zhoumi thought he needed a new camera that could better capture the awesomeness that was Mimi; after all, his blog deserved nothing short of the best when it came to pictures of himself.

Roaming the aisles, Zhoumi looked through rows and rows of the latest models of cameras. Finally finding the perfect one that could capture the very essence of awesomeness, he was dismayed to find it on the veeeeeeeery top shelf.

While he tiptoed and hopped up and down to try and reach the camera, Zhoumi felt a tap on his shoulder. Whirling around, he came face to face with a young man about his age.

‘Hmmm…he’s pretty cute…’ Zhoumi thought to himself as he gave the guy a once-over, from his shaggy dark hair, to his deep brown eyes, further down his slim figure, finally ending at long legs.

“Did you need some help there?” the guy asked him.

“Help?” Zhoumi asked, momentarily distracted, forgetting all about the camera.

“…With getting that camera down?” the man raised an eyebrow.

“Oh! Right! The camera! Yes, please…” Zhoumi looked at the man’s nametag, “…Kyuhyun. If you could get that down for me, that would be great.” Zhoumi gave Kyuhyun a smile that looked like it could break his face in half.

“Alright then, let me get a ladder,” Kyuhyun walked towards the stock room, presumably to get said ladder.

‘What’s a cutie like that doing working in an electronics store?...He looks about my age…I wonder if he’s taken…’

Amidst his daydreaming, Zhoumi didn’t notice that Kyuhyun had already come back with the ladder and gotten the camera down.

Waving a hand in front of Zhoumi’s unresponsive form, Kyuhyun snickered under his breath as he studied Zhoumi’s face, mouth slightly agape, eyes glazed over.

Deciding to take pity on the poor man, Kyuhyun placed a hand lightly on Zhoumi’s shoulder.

“Um…here’s the camera…”

Startled out of his thoughts, Zhoumi’s eyes  became impossibly wide as he finally comprehended the situation he was in. A pink blush crept up his cheeks as he quickly ran a hand over the corner of his mouth to wipe away any drool that might have been there.

It took all of Kyuhyun’s strength to hold back his laughter as Zhoumi took the camera with shaking hands and mumbled, “T-thanks for that…” keeping his eyes on his shoes, not daring to look at Kyuhyun in the eye.

“No problem. Do you need anything else?” Kyuhyun asked with a friendly smile.

Zhoumi shook his head, “No, this is all for now. Thanks!”

And with that, Zhoumi shot the opposite way down the aisle away from Kyuhyun before he embarrassed himself anymore.

Chuckling to himself, Kyuhyun went back to the storage room to finish taking inventory.

‘What a strange guy…’ Kyuhyun thought to himself.

A few days after what Zhoumi considered the most embarrassing moment of his life -but then again, no one will ever know if that’s actually true, knowing how much of a drama queen he could be-Zhoumi realized that he didn’t get a new memory card to go with his new camera, and the measly 1 gig that came with the camera was hardly enough for one of his cam whoring escapades.

Despite his embarrassment from last time, Zhoumi wanted to go back to the same store and see Kyuhyun. In fact, his epic fail during his last visit only made him want to see Kyuhyun even more so he could redeem himself.

Gathering up his courage, Zhoumi put on one of his best outfits, spent over an hour styling his hair, meticulously ensuring that not a strand of hair was out of place, and headed out to the store.

When he got there, Zhoumi nervously scanned the aisles, looking for the mysterious cutie from his last visit. Coincidentally, Zhoumi found said cutie in the memory card aisle. He did a mental cheer, and strode up to Kyuhyun, who was currently restocking the shelves.

“Uh…” Not knowing quite what to say so that he wouldn’t come off as some creepy stalker guy, Zhoumi took a deep breath and blurted out, “H-hi there Kyuhyun…er…You…probablydon’tremembermeiwashereacoupledaysagotobuyacamerabutididn’tgetamemorycardsoineedanewonebutidon’tknowwhichonetobuycanyouhelpme?”

Kyuhyun looked up at the nervous man that was now blushing profusely and stifled a laugh.

“Yeah, I remember you… Mr… sorry, I never caught your name,” Kyuhyun said apologetically. “But I do remember you!” Kyuhyun added with a reassuring smile.

Zhoumi felt like skipping around, cheering for joy that Kyuhyun remembered him, but he held it in, settling for another face-splitting smile. “Zhoumi. My name’s Zhoumi.”

“Nice to meet you, Zhoumi,” Kyuhyun greeted, holding out his hand for a handshake.

As soon as their hands met, Zhoumi was gone. ‘Wow, he has really soft hands…he’s a good hand shaker too…I wonder what else his hands can do…” Zhoumi shook himself out of his stupor, embarrassed that he had let his mind wander in that direction, and also for holding on to Kyuhyun’s hand for much longer than was normal for handshake etiquette.

Quickly releasing Kyuhyun’s hand, Zhoumi managed to get out coherently, “So… uh…yeah. Can you help me pick a memory card for my camera?”

“Hmm…well I specialize more in the games department, but I’ll try my best. Well, this one has good memory capacity, but I’m not particularly fond of that brand. They usually die on me. This brand is much better, but it’s slightly more expensive…”

Zhoumi just stood in the same spot and watched as Kyuhyun flitted around the aisle, telling him all about the different options there were.

‘He has a really cute butt…No, no, let’s not go there.’ As Zhoumi kept watching, trying to focus on Kyuhyun’s rambling, he completely lost interest in exactly WHAT he was saying, and was more mesmerized by the mere fact that he was speaking at all.

‘His voice is amazing…it’s so smooth…and deep, and yet husky…man, over the phone that voice would be perfect for…”

Once again, Zhoumi shook himself out of his thoughts before he went too far into his fantasy land. Kyuhyun was looking at him expectantly, so Zhoumi assumed that he was supposed to choose a card now.

Luckily, Zhoumi didn’t really NEED help choosing a new memory card. In fact, he was very well versed in the memory card area, considering how many he had gone through every time he felt like updating the pictures on his blog.

“Umm… I think I’ll take the four gig San Disc memory card. Those have worked pretty well for me before, so that should be fine for now.”

“Okay then. Here you go,” Kyuhyun handed him a package. “Is there anything else I can help you with?”

“No…I think that’s it for today.”

“Alright then. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me. I’ll be here stocking shelves for a while,” Kyuhyun gestured at the giant stack of boxes still filled with items.

“Okay then. Thanks for the help!” Zhoumi scurried away towards the register, leaving Kyuhyun blinking at the trail of dust he left behind.

Kyuhyun just shook his head and smiled, picking up where he left off with stocking the shelves.

“I HAVE TO SEE HIM AGAIN!” Zhoumi declared loudly. Looking around suspiciously, he checked to see if anyone heard his random outburst to find only an empty living room.

“I mean…I have to get a case for my camera…yeah…that’s it…a case. I can’t have it getting scratched, now can I?” Whistling and throwing shifty glances, Zhoumi strolled to his car as ninja-like as possible, not that anyone was actually watching. He just thought it’d look more epic if he tried to move like a ninja.

Walking into the store, Zhoumi roamed the entire store, going up and down the aisles. But to his dismay, there was no Kyuhyun in sight. Sighing, he relented, thinking maybe he should just let it be and they were just not meant to meet again, and just picked up a random camera case off the shelves and sluggishly moved towards the register.

While he dejectedly thought about all of the things that he wouldn’t be able to do with Kyuhyun because they were never ever ever ever going to meet again-keep in mind his drama queen tendencies-he heard a familiar voice.

“Ah! Zhoumi! It’s nice to see you again!”

Snapping his head up, Zhoumi found himself face to face with a smiling Kyuhyun behind the register.

“Kyuhyun! I uh… didn’t know you were working the register today…I’m glad I finally got see you!”

“…”

“Uhm…I er…I mean…what I meant to say was, you do everything in this store! You take inventory, stock the shelves, and now even the register! Ehehe…hehe…he…”

Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow and couldn’t help but chuckle at the flustered Zhoumi in front of him.

“Haha, yup! I’ve been trained to do lots of stuff in the store. By the way, Zhoumi. Since you seem to visit this store quite often, I was wondering if you’d be interested in signing up a frequent buyer membership card with us. You’d be given a 10% discount off your purchase and if you sign up by this date…”

Zhoumi just smiled and nodded, giving an occasional “Mmhmm…yeah…that sounds good…” but his brain was off to lala-land again. Apparently Kyuhyun just had that effect on him. ‘Hmmm…date…I should ask Kyuhyun out on a date! But what if he doesn’t like me that way? What if he thinks I’m not cute? OH MY GOD what if he doesn’t like guys?!?!”

Kyuhyun watched amusedly as he saw several emotions flit across Zhoumi’s face.

“So uh…Zhoumi, can I have your number?”

Zhoumi’s eyes widened. ‘Wow~! So blunt! Not that I’m complaining or anything…’

Trying to be coy, Zhoumi put a sly grin on, “Only if I can have yours…”

Kyuhyun tried to stifle his laughter, a small chuckle escaping before he could control himself which he attempted to cover up with a cough.

“Um…I meant can I have your number so I can finish the registration for your membership card…”

Clapping a hand over his mouth, Zhoumi’s face turned bright red. He felt like crawling into a hole and never coming out ever again.

“I’m sorry about that…I didn’t mean it like that…I mean I did mean it like that…but I didn’t mean to say it like that…I thought you meant that…” Zhoumi was flustered, babbling on and on, trying to make the situation better somehow.

“Here’s your membership card, Zhoumi. And here’s your receipt,” Kyuhyun cut off.

Zhoumi silently took the card the slip of paper, still wishing the earth would take pity on him and just swallow him up.

“And…my cell phone number is on the back of your receipt, in case you have any questions, concerns, or need customer service of ANY kind,” Kyuhyun gave smirk, “And you can call me ANYtime, for ANYthing.”

Zhoumi snapped his head up, not quite sure he heard right. But at the look sly smirk on Kyuhyun’s face, he confirmed that he had, in fact, NOT been daydreaming again. Flashing a grin, Zhoumi nodded, and gathered up his things and was preparing to leave the store.

“Oh, by the way, Zhoumi. I’m working the store by myself today, and I still have some inventory to do. But it’s awfully lonely in the storage room by myself…I was wondering if you wanted to keep me company…”

Zhoumi’s eyes grew wide, as he watched Kyuhyun walk slowly to the back room, with an extra swing in his hips Zhoumi noted.

Throwing a glance over his shoulder, Kyuhyun gave Zhoumi a wink before disappearing into the storage room, leaving the door slightly open.

It took half a second for Zhoumi to process the situation he was in, took another half a second to mentally run around screaming with happiness, and another full second to sprint to the back of the store.

‘Who knows?’ he thought to himself before slipping through the door to the storage room, ‘Maybe tomorrow I’ll have to come back to look at the new webcams…’
