I use Windows Notepad frequently to jot down random notes throughout the day... business TODO reminders, personal lists, random musings, whatever. The next morning, I'll wade through the 10-15 I have open and try to act on them or close them out. Every once in awhile, I come across one that I have no idea what it is referring to or why I jotted ( Read more... )

You were probably referring to this xkcd comic, which really fell kind of flat.

Yes, that was it! That also explains why I didn't recall it at all. For me, the novelty of xkcd wore off awhile ago and I haven't really found many of the comics over the last few months to be that funny. "My hobby is..." got a little stale after the third or fourth one. I just haven't gotten around to unsubscribing from the feed on LJ, so it still shows up on my BFF page.

I do like the artistic ones he posts though, like logarithmic height.
