Yeah, my Net10 phone is fairly crappy. I got the cheapest Nokia they had available, and have had two problems with it: the time/date thing is all screwy (sometimes the date inexplicably reads April 7th or something), and, more annoying, sometimes when people call me and I press "accept" the phone just beeps and freezes, and I have to take out the battery and put it back in to get it working again. Maybe down the road I'll invest in a flashier one...

I've only had it for a day, but the LG 600 I ended up splurging on seems pretty solid so far. It felt a bit sturdier than most of the other Net10 phones Best Buy had out.

I dunno if the other phones have it too, but this one lets you see the first few words of a text in the message list. So if someone sends a simple reply like "Sounds good", you can see it and delete without having to pay to download it.

The LG 400 was pretty much the same phone as the 600, but without the camera. It was my first choice, but they were all out at the Best Buy I went to. It's only $30 and comes with the free $30 worth of minutes when you activate, so you can always just buy that and transfer your phone number/minutes over rather than buying another airtime card.
