Year in Review - 2009

Another year almost over:
  • My weight was hovering around 270 in January. I started working with Kat Fieler, an awesome and inexpensive personal trainer, twice a week this year and am down to around 240 now. Well done on the personal fitness stuff. I am also engaging a personal trainer and I'm very happy with the program. Although I just started--and am sore constantly--I feel like my strength has improved greatly.

I've also made some significant changes to my diet--nothing incredibly radical (I'd cut out soda years before--and eat red meat only rarely anyway)--but I'm definitely more serious about portion control and, having gotten a high cholesterol blood-test back, I'm more serious about eating less eggs and cheese and such.

So anyway: I know what it's like. Good for you.
