i have a bit of a dilemma. (sorry for text-only)
i have a huge bucket or pens, pencils, & various other writing supplies that I rarely use anymore but are still good and work fine. [i would include pictures but i'm out of town right now] i'm trying to clean up and reorganize my room, which means a serious clear-out.

if they're all in good working order and you just need a way to keep them until you need them, what about one of those large spacemaker-type pencil cases? or any wide plastic case...one that isn't too deep so as to be able to slide nicely under a bed or some place. keep a few out in that cup on your desk, but have the others hidden away as a reserve.
you also might want to get a desk organiser thingy..(descriptive, huh? l ol) i have one that is relatively small, with three stacked drawers. i keep black/blue pens in one drawer, markers in the other, colored pencils in the third. keeps my desk looking neat. =]

i went through TONS of pens and paper and stickers when i was a really active pen pal. :0}
