hellllloooooooooooooooooo....
so the other night, as i may or may have not mentioned (which i don't think i did, because i don't update much because i'm LAAAAAAAAAAAZY) i went to the BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE concert!!!! it was amazingtothemax!

i know you're all jealous...so yes, i have pictures for you...you're going to love them...

so this was the 'band' that opened. She came out and started singing by herself, and we thought that she was going to have her band come out and perform later on...but she didn't...she was a one-woman show. I found it funny how she had all her backup tracks on her iPod that she had to sprint across the stage to start before every song...and then sprint across the stage to get her guitar. All in all, quite humerous. She was quite good though, very mellow...colin's grade? B

this was still when we were confused and didn't know where her band was...i'm just a photo whore, so i took pictures of her anyway

and here she is again, after all is clear and we know who she is...

and here is the
so then broken social scene came on. Now, I'm not going to lie, but before the concert, i was thinking that Broekn Social Scene was fairly mediocre, because most of the stuff that i have on my computer of them doesn't have lyrics, and i'm not a huge fan of purely instrumental stuff, unless it's classical (i'm a NERD, OK?!?!?) HOWEVER, Broken Social Scene was the one band that i've seen before that i think is a LOT better live than recorded. Their concert was AMAZING...they were so dynamic, and there's so much going on on stage (they had 12 members in the band) that it just makes it superbulous :D wheeee

here they are, that's emily from Metric going ape-shit; what we all love her for

I was like front row, centre, at the show, and the guy playing the guitar there with the grey sweater on was the lead singer. In the last song of the show, he jumped into the crowd and hugged people...i was one of them..I'm pretty much sacred now, and i know you all want me

All the band members play different instruments, so here they are playing, at this moment, trumpet and saxaphone

And here's the band, doing their thing...

And this is when I
this is the newest member of Broken Social Scene, Lisa. We were totally into each other...we kept making eye contact and smiling. I fell in love. We're going to elope in Mexico. You're all invited if you want to come. the moral of the story is: famous people love colin, and you should too...

my future wife

(hot, eh?)

so you see, this is why you should have all been in kingston last wednesday....the end
