Everyone has things they blog about regularly. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, favorite type of underwear, first crushes ( Read more... )

I don't know if you read my blog on this over at myspace, but I wrote a somewhat lengthy piece a while back on my realization that I'm Agnostic. Now, if memory serves, you are an Atheist. So...

My challenge to you is:

"Why don't you need religion?"

**Please keep in mind, I don't think you need it either, but I'm curious for your answer :O)**

i did read it actually. i'm probably atheist more than agnostic, only because i have an opinion on it. from what i can tell, agnostics dont really have a religion, or care about other people having a religion. i'd like to say i'm that judgement free, but yeah. not. i abhor most religions in all their hypocrisy and fear inducing beliefs ( ... )

oh. the other thing i forgot to mention is, my non religion of choice is also because of ignorance. i dont know alot about many religions out there, so i choose not to have one. this is not to say, that i believe you should be a crappy person. some of the ideals religions are loosely based on, like be good and good will happen to you, i DO believe. karma. i believe in being a good person, if for no other benefit than you dont suck. it might not get me into heaven, but at least i'll die knowing i'm not a major fuck up. so yeah. i can do all the good parts of religion, without being scared into it. in my opinion, that makes me better anyways. mwahaha!

i do like buddhism, to a degree. its still flawed. everything made and run by people, is flawed.
